Cooperating with health care measures

Please do not visit if you are unwell, if you have a fever, cold-like symptoms, or similar before you arrive.
If you become unwell on the day, depending on your symptoms, you may be asked to leave.

Wear a mask or facemask

You may remove your mask or facemask if you are outdoors and can maintain distance with others (guideline: 2 m or more), or if there is almost no conversation even when distance cannot be maintained. Please wear masks, etc. indoors, and even outdoors if there are many people around you, such as when standing in line.*Please take your used masks home with you. Also, please observe cough etiquette when coughing or sneezing, etc.

Washing and sanitizing your hands

Hand sanitizers are located at the entrances and exits of each facility as well as in the shops and restaurants,
so please assist by sanitizing your hands in addition to washing them frequently.

Cashless payment recommended

We recommend cashless payment using a credit card or electronic payment.
A money tray is provided when paying with cash and when receiving your change.

Pre-booking, pre-payment online recommended

You can book and pay online in advance for lift tickets, rental snow gear, and ski school lessons.
We recommend you book and pay in advance as this will help to avoid crowding at reception on the day.

  • If you yourself or a person close to you is suspected of being infected with COVID-19
  • If you have had close contact with a person who tested positive for COVID-19
  • If you show signs of being unwell; if you have symptoms such as a fever of 37.5°C or higher, a severe cough, trouble breathing, severe fatigue, sore throat, lack of taste or smell; or if you are unwell in a way not limited by the above
  • If you are a person for whom an observation period is required by the government after entering the country

Rigorous health management

Our staff are taking their temperatures, performing health checks, and recording the results before they come to work.
Any staff member who has a temperature of 37.5 degrees Celsius or higher, or who is feeling unwell will not come to work.

Wearing masks, face shields and gloves

Staff are wearing masks (some staff are wearing face shields) and sanitary gloves in consideration of the health and safety of our visitors as well as public hygiene.

Staff maintain social distancing when they interact with our visitors and in their interactions with other employees.

Hand sanitizing and hand washing

Staff regularly sanitize their hands thoroughly with alcohol,
including when they arrive at work and before they go on breaks.
We are also rigidly enforcing hand washing, gargling, and cough etiquette.

Interactions with visitors

We avoid physical contact with visitors except in the event of an emergency.
Staff who may come into contact with visitors for the purpose of first aid are wearing uniforms,
protective glasses or face shields, masks, sanitary gloves, etc.

Reminders over the P.A. system to exercise caution

We make announcements over the P.A. system to remind everyone of infection prevention measures,
such as wearing a mask, maintaining social distancing, sanitizing hands, etc.

With a particular focus on objects that are regularly touched by people,
we sanitize all public spaces, the back-of-house and rental items.

We are limiting conversation between employees,
as well as with visitors, and even spoken greetings as much as possible.

Back-of-house initiatives

In our staff dormitory, staff cafeteria, offices and back-of-house,
we are undertaking initiatives to prevent the transmission of droplets and direct physical contact,
as well as to avoid enclosed spaces and close-contact settings.

Conducting PCR or Antigen

All trausferees who are to reside in the dormitory will undergo a PCR or Antigen test for COVID-19 prior to taking up their post.
Only persons who return a negative test result will be allowed to take up their post and move into the dormitory.
